I met up with Camp Jack in 2004...Jack was dx with Neuroblastoma and was about to undergo the first of two stem cell transplants. His mom ordered a luminaria from us to raise funds for our second Relay for Life. We followed each family's cancer journeys and we met Camp Jack in person on a visit to CA. Jack's mom referred to Ali as Jack's Prom date. So when we finally met, Ali dressed in a formal and Jack in Nolan's white tuxedo from his ring bearer days and we took photos...and we have kept in touch ever since. Sadly, Jack relapsed and is in hospice...and will take flight soon. Camp Jack was the recipient of our Chiristmas fundraiser this year...thank you to all who gave with an open heart....sending $800+ to Camp Jack helped with a few bills. Others generously helped his family allowing him a trip to CA and Disney and a trip to New York... and since Jack loved flight, the age rules were bent and 9 year old Jack was allowed to sky dive.Tonight if you can look up and see the stars, wish Jack a safe flight.
(Both Jack and Ali had chemo hangovers but still posed for the photos. )

Wish I could see the stars and the moon. Somehow I don't mind the rain so much anymore.
Good Morning, Marey,
This sounds like a special little boy. My heart breaks for his family.
Take care, ~Natalie
And heaven will be a bit sweeter with him there.
Prayers and strength for his family.
Praying for the family. Crying so hard right now.
