THEN, I was on my way to my dentist appointment and on the curb I spotted a steel cabinet with a "FREE" sign on it.
I was all WEHAVETOSTOPANDGETTHAT!
The Captain was all AREYOUKIDDINGME?
After the appointment it was still there so I sweet talked the Captain into stopping to check it out. Aside from it being a gross "Methotrexate green," (named after a chemo drip Daughter #1 had in treatment,) it was in fairly good shape. After much shoving, rearranging and me driving with the front seat as far up as it would go- all the way to my classroom, we got it inside. But it wasn't until today that I had time to reorganize.
So I got to school at 7:30 and got the cabinets moved and all of my art supplies into the larger free shelf.
Then I got all of my cooking supplies into the old art cabinet....all this stuff was sharing two shelves....now I can find the cups and spices and foil.
Then I organized my paper drawers, took down turkeys and put up new butcher paper and stockings I got on clearance...I know it isn't December yet but winter break begins on Dec. 16 and I only have 15 school days to do The Nutcracker and Gingerbread activities...I really hate when break starts early.
Now off to the beach for the lowest tide in recent history....maybe the reef will be showing!
