Elephant Seals...
Friday morning, before we headed home, my cousin and I drove out to see the elephant seals. There were tons of them sunning themselves and mating on the beach. Most had young pups....who were so cute flipping sand onto their backs.
The sun shone down as we got in the car to head home...and then the fog rolled in! Just as we passed the motel we had stayed in we could no longer see the ocean...and as we climbed the big hill to get back to Highway 101 the ocean had become a sea of fog. The timing couldn't have been more perfect....because this fair weather momma hates fog. Instead I left with memories of this...

Oh, I love those elephant seals...if I ever get to see one in person...I'll be so darn happy!!
