and I liked this photo so much I kept it as my screen saver.
Friday I asked a student to put a paper on my desk.
"Where's your desk?" Said student asked.
If you have ever been in a kindergarten room, you know that a teacher cannot sit at a desk and instruct...so my desk sits under a window, facing out...and apparently the students walk right past it every morning...and since it is piled high with "stuff" and since they never see me sitting at it, they haven't noticed that it is a desk.
So as the said student put the paper on my desk I saw said student looking at the laptop screen saver....and said student called over another to look at it.
Said Student: Who is that?
Other student: Ms. R.
Me: And if that is me, who is that? -And I pointed to the man I have my arms around.
Said Student: A farmer.
That's when I busted a gut laughing.
